Expectations...Sara Alexandra

Green Magazine
In this project, I would like to develop new skills related to my area (I am in the project Green Magazine), meet new people with different cultures and improve my English. In addition, I also hope to develop an interesting project, improve my social skills interacting with the others and above all, contribute for such a project in the secondary school of Caldas das Taipas.

Expectations from Norway...

Public Transport...
We expect much fun, inspiration and creativity from this project. We also expect the people involved to act polite and tidy, so that it will be easy cooperating with them.

Reusing and Recycling...
We first sent an e-mail to the girls from Portugal with a gesture saying "hi". We opened a group on Facebook called "Green Business Recycling Group". We have had some contact with the others, and they all seem very nice. We look forward working with you guys, and hopefully make some new friends as well. This is a great project, lets get to work!

Gardening...
We expect to learn more about gardening, and how it can help businesses. And we are looking forward to meet the students from the other countries, and experience other cultures.
First contact, we sent a mail and made a facebook group, where we invited students from the other countries. After this we started to talk to each other :- )

Expectations...Inês Silva.

Gardening...
I hope that this Project will really matter in terms of our knowledge improvement in different areas, such as different cultures, ecology and how to organize, create and work in a project.
I also think it will also be really good to be able to interact with people that, in other ways, we wouldn’t and therefore develop friendship.

Logo: Participating in this Project …

We were asked to join a Comenius project at our school, and we decided to accept because it was an interesting idea that would appeal to our imagination and give us the possibility to create something that could be known and used by several countries, the project participants.
We started by facing the challenge of making a logo, we didn´t expect to win but we enjoyed doing it very much. It was a big surprise and we think our class did very well because the logo that got the second place was also from our class.

Visiting Riga...

During the winter, Riga is so cold and the wind is so harsh that we must wear gloves, hats; and so on … Walking through Riga with this weather is a real adventure.
This monument symbolizes freedom
and the end of the Russian power

House of the Blackheads, originally called
the New House, was built in 1334.
It was destroyed during the war and
rebuilt in the XX century.

S. Jacobo Cathedral dates from the 12th century,
it is the largest medieval church in the Baltic.
It’s reddish color draws our attention.

Riga has been named a UNESCO World Heritage Site thanks to the collection of art nouveau buildings.

The students were our tourist guides and they played their role very well.

Riga is an amazing city, and Latvian people are very proud of their past...

We went to Latvia

Last November, between 16th and 19th, responsible teachers from each school participated in the first mobility of our Green Business project. We met at Riga 22 Secondary School, in Riga, the lovely capital of Latvia. Marina, our host, was excellent in organizing everything so we could, in a very short period of time, do all the things we had to and also experience something of Latvian culture.
It was great, apart from the cooold weather!
